Vin og Filosofi: Hvorfor bry seg?

Kan vin som fysisk og estetisk objekt være av filosofisk interesse? Kan
det å behandle vin som et estetisk objekt ha ringvirkninger som utfordrer
forutsetninger i klassisk estetikk?
Man kan ha ulike prosjekt med et objekt, og det estetiske prosjektet er ett slikt prosj…ekt i møte med vin. Prosjektet styrer oppmerksomheten, og derfor er også persepsjonsfilosofien aktuell i forbindelse med oppfattelsen av vin – som jo med nødvendighet involverer flere sansemodaliteter enn tradisjonelle kunstformer.
Ole Martin Skilleås er professor i filosofi ved UiB og aktuell med boka The Aesthetics of Wine som han har skrevet sammen med Douglas Burnham. Den kommer på Wiley-Blacwell i juni. Førstkommende onsdag gjester han filosofikafeen Hybris for å snakke om dette temaet.
Det vil også bli tilbudt vinsmaking. Vinpakken koster 100,- nok og gir 4 ulike smaksopplevelser!
